Conservation Operatives for Glenveagh Habitat Restoration Programme

Tender description

The Department wish to hire four operatives, one of which must perform an additional supervisory role, to undertake habitat management duties. These duties will include cutting, digging, spraying and otherwise control of invasive and non-native vegetation, bushes, shrubs and trees. The operatives will also be required to do additional duties, such as fencing, collection of seeds, propagation and planting of native trees. Note that the field work will involve strenuous physical exertion; including walking over rough terrain, carrying, lifting and operating equipment. This work will be conducted in all weather conditions.
