RFI for the Design & Build of a Wetlands Water Treatment Facility

Tender description

Herefordshire Council is undertaking a programme of works aimed at reducing the volume of phosphorous being released into rivers within the county. Central to the strategy is the creation of natural wetland water treatment facilities down-flow of water authority sewage treatment works, able to remove a defined amount of phosphorous from the treated effluent before it is discharged to a watercourse A suitably competent and experienced provider will be required to develop the preliminary design into a detailed engineering-level design for construction, undertake all pre-construction activity, planning condition sign-off and permitting, and deliver the construction and commissioning of the scheme.
