In Work Support Study: People and Skills

Advance Northumberland is seeking a supplier to undertake a study of the skills landscape across the North of Tyne region and subsequently, provide a report which demonstrates an in-depth, evidence based, needs analysis approach which highlights retention challenges and brings forward opportunities to deliver relevant in work support. The successful supplier will undertake research with employers and business support organisations to understand their key issues and challenges in relation to: Recruitment Retention Progression of staff in the workforce The study will utilise both qualitative and quantitative data and should engage with at least 50 employers of varying sizes from across the North of Tyne geography. The report will be concluded with a series of recommendations and considerations on how in work support can be delivered successfully and produce a delivery plan that can be implemented to help address challenges identified.
