GB-Colchester: Adaptations to Housing Stock

Tender description

Colchester Borough Homes on behalf of Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to undertake property adaptations. The types of work required, generally (but not limited too) consist of the following: •Conversion of bathrooms to wet rooms •Installation of ramps •Dropped kerbs •Overbath showers •Installation of grab rails •Door widening Further details of the requirements can be found in the accompanying documents Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The contract is initially for 12 months with the option to extend for up to 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. The anticipated value shown is the maximum based on 4 years. The annual budget is approximately £500k
