Agreed the procurement strategy to award a 24-month contract to Softcat for enhanced Zscaler Web-Proxy services at a total cost of £400,300.62 procured via G-Cloud 13 The solution fully meets the Council requirements in terms of technical ability, quality, support and social value. The increased Council dependence on Cloud-based ICT services is exposing the limitations of maintaining our security posture in the traditional way i.e. with on-premises security appliances. Therefore, to avoid the cost of increasing our on-premises security capability we need to enable enhanced features on the Cloud-based Web Proxy.
