Ballymena Street Art / Mural Project

Tender description

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council requires the services of an individual or company to organise and deliver the Ballymena street art/mural project. The Ballymena Street Art / Mural project will consist of the delivery of a range of 3 street art/mural works of varying sizes, as part of an ongoing programme of work by MEABC to transform the town centre and encouraging the wider regeneration of the area. This procurement will comprise the provision of specialist services relating to the co-designing, costing, and delivery of public artwork in Ballymena. The contract will include for the supply of all materials and labour required to deliver the artworks as proposed, and any delivery costs, travel, and accommodation preferably in the Ballymena Area. It is proposed that the artwork installation will be carried out over a maximum period of 6 weeks. The project is open to an individual artist or group of artists working as a collaboration. The outcome will be 3 street art / mural works of varying size which will build on the street art offering already in the town and contribute to the regeneration of the town.
