AMPP290 Boiler Room Refurbishment Works - Alder Coppice Primary School

Tender description

The work to The Boiler Room refurbishment shall be undertaken under one Main Contract. The Mechanical Contractor shall be the Main Contractor. The School Boiler Room is located at Basement level within the Key Stage One block. Keys are required for access into the Boiler Room. The existing cast iron boilers will have been removed prior to this project. Any remaining pipework shall be removed & replaced. The Boiler Room will have three new gas boilers. The boilers will serve the heating system only. A new Delta control panel and pressurisation unit shall also be fitted. The Boiler Room will be rewired and decorated. Any materials containing asbestos as highlighted in the recent asbestos refurbishment survey shall be removed by an Asbestos Contractor at the start of this contract. The existing gas fired hot water heater shall be reused with new pipe connections and electrics. Three existing electric hot water heaters within the KS1 building will be removed and replaced with new during the school Summer holidays. There will be some asbestos removal works and making good Storerooms associated with this works. Additional information: Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
