Tender description

Cheshire East Council intends to enter into a procurement process to procure a contract with a single supplier for the provision of woodland planting and maintenance across 2 council owned sites within the borough of Cheshire East. The scope of the service will include tree supply, tree planting, establishment, beating up and maintenance. Cheshire East Council is committed to becoming a carbon neutral council by 2027. Planting woodland is one of many projects underway to tackle and reduce carbon emissions across the areas that the council has direct control over. The council recognises that it can’t eliminate it's carbon emissions completely by 2027, however the plan to plant 100 hectares of trees, by that time, will help to offset those carbon emissions. Keywords: trees, shrubs, forestry, woodland planting, woodland maintenance
