Tender description

Derby City Council is seeking to appoint a single provider for the provision of a libraries van delivery service within the boundary of Derby City. The Service Provider will be responsible for providing an inter-library van delivery / collection service, transporting books, equipment, consumables, and furniture between each of the libraries and the Council House. Occasionally, deposit collections of books and items, also need to be circulated between various residential homes, schools and other cultural organisations and the Blagreaves library within the city boundary. Service Providers should provide a van to transport items in a safe and secure manner. There are 16 library locations across the city comprising of: • The central sorting point at the Acquisitions Unit within Blagreaves library. • 14 other libraries in the network • Libraries headquarters located at the Council House Keywords: library, transport, van
