Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Cycle and Pedestrian Counting Equipment

Tender description

The Council have an ongoing requirement for the supply, installation and maintenance of bicycle and pedestrian counting equipment. The equipment is required to monitor the usage of our cycle routes/walkways situated throughout South Lanarkshire. The Council have an ongoing requirement for the Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Bicycle and Pedestrian Counting Equipment. The award of this contract is under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure under Regulation 33(1) of The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The recommended Contractor holds exclusive rights to the software and owns the equipment currently embedded within Roads and Transportation Services. A change in provider would result in significant additional cost and/or operational risk to the Council. An invitation to bid was issued via Public Contacts Scotland Tender (PCS-T) on 4th May 2023 to the incumbent supplier. The contract period has been determined and agreed as being 22nd December 2023 for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 36 months. The contract between the Council and the contractor will consist of the Council standard terms and conditions.
