Market Engagement Event for Prospective Providers of a Complex Women’s Accommodation and Support Service (for rough sleepers). Monday 22nd January 2024 from 10.30am -11.30am Via MS Teams Dorset Council is intending to publish a Further Competition opportunity in early March 2024 to all providers on Lot 19 of the Dorset Care, Support, Housing and Community Safety Framework for the above named service. In the meantime, the Council is holding a virtual market engagement event and invites providers who are potentially interested in tendering for a Complex Women’s Accommodation and Support Service. This is not a request for expressions of interest in the Further Competition at this stage, but an invitation to participate in the market engagement session. The event will cover: • background to the proposed contract; • details of the Single Homeless Accommodation Programme; • the results of our annual rough sleeper counts over the past 5 years; • the type of service we are looking for; • contract period; • the anticipated tender process and timescales; • any feedback providers are comfortable to share in the session (there will also be an opportunity to provide feedback privately).
