Tender description

A requirement for maintenance of an currently installed liquid handler, it was confirmed that the original equipment manufacturer is the only supplier able to fulfill the requirement. The Edinburgh Genome Foundry part of the Institute of Quantitative Biology,Biochemistry and Biotechnology currently uses Beckman Coulter to provide acoustic liquid handling via the Echo 550 working in drug discovery. Continuous service contract are required to ensure operational of the instrument installed at site. The existing instruments are coming towards end of life and a service contract is required. To ensure the continuous service of the instruments and upkeep of said instrument a service contract of 24 is required. All replacement parts would need to be ordered from the original supplier as they are the sole supplier. The service contract will support the instrument in operation and continue provide service to end users.
