Tender description

The supplier is required to perform the following. 3.1 Perform one annual inspection and clean of the ventilation extraction ducting to the most current legislation and standards including the supply of any appropriate access equipment and cleaning materials to undertake the works. (See Appendix D – Ventilation Asset List 2023) 3.2 Perform four annual inspections and cleans of the ductwork to the catering facilities at WBC Corporate sites that have opted into this WBC contract (See Appendix D – Ventilation Asset List 2023) 3.3 Perform six annual ventilation canopy filter cleans (one clean every two months) to the most current legislation and standards including the supply of any appropriate access equipment and cleaning materials to undertake the works (See Appendix D – Ventilation Asset List 2023) 3.4 Provide replacement filters that have been identified defective as part of any inspection or clean. 3.5 Provide and maintain an appropriate ‘Equipment Asset Register’ detailing equipment make, model, serial number, manufacturer date, installation date, all compliance inspections, all repair reports and quotations issued for repair including disposal certificates. All equipment should have a unique identification number and all works associated with this equipment have the identification number stated all reports and quotations. WBC should have access to this information for the duration of the contract. In addition, ad-hoc cleaning tasks may be requested of the supplier at any time; the cost of such shall be subject to separate quotation. All work shall be carried out in accordance with this specification and the Building Engineering Services Association (“BESA”) TR/19 Guide to Good Practice – Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems.
