GGGP Nature Recovery Opportunity Maps and Web Portal

Tender description

This commission is for the delivery of nature recovery opportunity mapping for the Gwent Green Grid (GGG) and creation of a web portal for use as a tool to inform nature recovery actions across Gwent.The nature recovery opportunity maps are being developed as part of the GGG’s ‘Nature Networks’ project’s landscape approach, working with NRW and wider partners to build our understanding of the 6 landscapes spanning Gwent (Landscape Profiles | Gwent Wildlife Trust). This includes working with the partnership and wider partners and stakeholders in using NRW's national RENs guidance framework for understanding aspects of ecosystem resilience (the DECCA framework), and ecologically based “rules of thumb” to design Resilient Ecological Networks within and across the landscapes of Gwent.
