This is a Soft Market Test, to express interest you must complete and return the attached 'Soft Market Testing' form before May 22nd. The old spec from the previous contract has also been attached, feel free to read to get a better understanding of what is being procured. 1. Background Knowsley currently has a contract in place for providing emotional wellbeing and mental health interventions for children in the care of the local authority, and their carers. The specification is currently being rescoped with a revised budget and commissioners seek to understand that market offer for this type of service. We would like to take the opportunity to do some `soft market testing’ as outlined below, to determine current interest levels in the market. 2. Key Aims • A range of therapeutic interventions providing early intervention emotional and mental health support to children and young people who present with multiple and complex mental health needs. • Improvement in two key outcome areas - improved mental and emotional wellbeing for all children looked after (CLA), and an increase in the stability and effectiveness of our placements. • Intensive support for the family unit, where necessary, to support placement stability.
