Consenting and re-consenting of patients with sickle cell disorder into the NIHR Bioresource’s Improving Black Health Outcomes (IBHO) project. Lot 1: Introducing patients to the study ahead of annual reviews and routine appointments in specialist sickle cell consultant clinics. Sharing the Patient Information Sheet (PIS) with patients and answering any questions. Coordinating sample collection with annual reviews and routine phlebotomy appointments. Processing consent documentation. Following up with patients to ensure they receive Diverse Data’s questionnaire and ensuring other provisions are made for those who are not able to complete the questionnaire online. Support provided to participants to complete the questionnaire when required.
