RFT for the Provision of Pre-Retirement Planning Programme for the Civil and Public Service.

Tender description

The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) is the contracting authority, and are seeking submissions for the provision of Pre-Retirement Planning Programme for the Civil and Public Service. In summary, this Services Contract will require the delivery of a Pre-Retirement Planning Programme for the Public Sector within the context of the following: • The aim is to support civil and public servants who are preparing for retirement (usually, within 12-18 months of retirement); • Projections for the Civil Service and estimated numbers for the Public Sector indicate that the number of retirements are expected to continue to increase to a peak in 2028; • The need to identify a provider with sufficient capacity and capability to meet this growing trend in accordance with the provisions of the RFT. This public procurement competition (the “Competition”) concerns social and other specific services and will be conducted in accordance with Regulations 74-77 of the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (Statutory Instrument 284 of 2016) (the “Regulations”).
