Please see below description of type of service we are looking to procure. We have attached a questionnaire which we would like to be returned by 13th May 12pm to help with Pre-Market Engagement. INTRODUCTION TO PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT Loading shovels are heavy-duty machines that are used to load, move, waste materials, such as residual waste, mixed dry recycling and separated paper and cardboard. Our Loading shovels operate in Waste Transfer Stations, where they are exposed to various hazards, such as, cuts, abrasion, heat, and chemicals. OVERALL AIMS OF THE SERVICE The Customer is looking to procure a countywide contract for the supply and fitting of solid tyres with rims to its fleet of seven loading shovels[A4] [A5] and to swap the tyres from front to back when required to maintain even wear. The Customer will require solid rubber tyres with rims that are suitable for use on wheeled loading shovels working on a concrete floor inside a waste transfer station.
