Tender description

Contracts with GPs practices for healthcare services. Lot 1: Description of services to be provided: - NHS Health Checks - Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARCs) - Stop Smoking Services The contract awards have been made following direct award process B under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) The total estimated amount to be paid to all GP practices for the full length of the contract (including extensions) is £5,897,295. GP practices are paid for each unit of activity that they complete. The average annual amount paid to a GP practice is anticipated to be £16,849. The contract values set out at V.2.4 are averages and the exact amount paid to each GP practice will vary according to the activity each undertakes. Dates between which the contracts provide for the services: Initial contract period - 01/04/2024 - 31/03/2027 Optional extension 1 - 01/04/2027 - 31/03/2028 Option extension 2 - 01/04/2028 - 31/03/2029 The awarded services and providers are existing. Each GP practice has an individual contract for the various public health services that they provide.
