Project management consultancy support for Queensway Gateway Road delivery and addressing identified actions on eight legacy projects

Tender description

East Sussex County Council require a consultant to: 1) Oversee the delivery programme for the implementation of the Queensway Gateway Road (QGR) final connection to the A21, enabling the road to be fully open to the public 2) Work alongside internal Council teams (Finance, Legal, Property), implementing the actions on eight outstanding projects This contract has now been awarded via Direct Award through the ESPO Consultancy Framework 664_21. Additional information: Contract value is based on a fixed fee for work package one and an estimated figure based on daily rates for work package 2, therefore the value of the contract could increase. Although there is no extension, work package one will continue until construction is complete. Update 11/03/25 - Due to delays in construction the value of work package one has increased by an additional £58,688. Update 22/12/2025 - Due to delays in construction the contract has been extended to 31 March 2026/the date on which the Services are completed with payment made on a time and materials basis.
