Tender description

1. To install medium duty footway along the line of the provided plan including: a. Ease gradients along the path line b. Dig out topsoil to minimum 200mm and form gently sweeping path minimum 1200mm wide (approx. 250m long) Store onsite for re-use. c. Form circle path designs as per plan and on-site discussions d. Lay weed control fabric along path base e. Supply, lay and compact suitable hard filling for path [non-recycled Type 1 stone or similar] to form the path base to within 50mm of finished surface. f. Supply, lay, roll and compact suitable gravel/stone dressing layer to provide a stable, even path surface. [For example; self-binding 'Breedon' gravel or tarmac road planings - please specify in the quote.] 2. To Install wooden edgings along entire length of new pathway. 3. Build steps using treated wooden oak sleepers as per plan, each step down to be laid on a lean dry mix foundation no less than 100mm deep. Where tread width exceeds sleeper width remaining area of tread to be gravel/stone filled. [For example; self-binding 'Breedon' gravel or tarmac road planings - please specify in the quote.] 4. Car Park Area: Supply and install pedestrian / access gate [approx. 12ft wide] to fenced area and make good / repair fence either side. Gate should be same height / type as the existing "orchard/burial ground" pedestrian gate. Create Bund for future planting of hedge either side of gate.
