Supply of Bulk Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)

Supply of Bulk Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) to Chiltern Railways to allow the operation of a sub-fleet within Chiltern's fleet on this fuel type. Lot 1: Arriva UK Trains (AUKT) is seeking to establish a single framework agreement for the supply of HVO to Stourbridge Depot for the operation of one of Chiltern's sub-fleets exclusively on HVO in accordance with EN-15940 without admixture of bio. The bidder is informed that the fuel volumes or spending values indicated in the tender are for guidance, the Framework Agreement will not offer any guarantees. The Framework Agreement will be used to call off the supply of HVO in agreed amounts as and when required by Chiltern for the operation of the relevant fleet. Arriva UK Trains is therefore seeking suppliers that can offer: - Supply of HVO to Stourbridge Depot for the operation of one of Chiltern's sub-fleets exclusively on HVO in accordance with EN-15940 without admixture of bio. Full specifications and requirements are provided upon request. - HVO that contains no palm, animal fats, or raw materials derived from wood and no blending with GTL or other paraffinic diesel. - Provision of up to 700,000 litres per annum, via several weekly deliveries to a single location at the address provided. - Full traceability of HVO and its contributing inputs to confirm no unethical or environmentally unfriendly practices involved.
