Evaluation Planning Support for Archaeology – Unearthing a Better Future

Archaeology Scotland wishes to commission an evaluation consultant for the Archaeology – Unearthing a Better Future project. It is a NLHF supported project and designed to build greater resilience for Archaeology Scotland, our membership and the wider heritage sector through several organisational improvements and business planning processes, together which will support development of increased public benefit through the work we can deliver together. Lot 1: The awardee will work with the Archaeology Scotland team to rapidly review our current evaluation methods and those necessary for future projects and programmes, as relating to: Existing delivery including Adopt-A-Monument programme, Archaeological Learning Programme, New Audiences project and wider audience development processes, including at events such as Scottish Archaeology Month. Business Development for two new programmes relating to Skills and Employability and Health and Wellbeing services. Development of a Participatory Archaeology Framework as part of our role as lead on Aim 4 Encouraging Greater Engagement for Scotland’s Archaeology Strategy.
