GB-Middlesbrough: External LED Lighting Replacement

Tender description

This project comprises the installation of new external lightning systems to protect existing buildings on the Teesside University campus and remote sites in Darlington and Saltersgill. In brief, the project comprises:- 1. Structural testing of existing columns by a specialist contractor. 2. Provide and install new replacement column mounted luminaires. 3. Provide and install new replacement wall mounted luminaires, with relocation and addition as indicated. 4. Provide and install additional column locations including associated trenching for cabling. 5. Provide and install replacement columns as specified, and as required following the structural testing and received report. 6. Identification to all columns with a letter/numbered reference. 7. Removal of all existing luminaires and safe disposal in accordance with WEEE regulations. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
