Tender description

The Council currently employs its own in-house Occupational Health Nurses. The team deliver an Occupational Health Service to the circa 2,500 directly employed council staff whilst also offering a traded service to approximately 400 staff working for a local leisure trust and circa 4,500 employees in schools and academies. The Council wishes to source an external provider to deliver an Occupational Health Service to the circa 2,500 directly employed council staff. It intends to continue to offer its traded service in the short term whilst the external service is embedded with a view to community schools and the leisure trust later being offered the option to purchase the service from the same external provider that the council are using.
