Tender description
The purpose of this Flexible Framework Agreement (FFA) is to create a list of Providers who can offer alternative education placements to Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2), Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) pupils who have been excluded from school or at risk of exclusion, at risk of disengaging from mainstream school provision or otherwise require alternative education provision to meet their educational entitlement. The provision is for those pupils who need a more individualised personal, social and academic curriculum. The specification for the service is set out in Schedule 1c. The Council is creating this FFA without restrictions to the number of Providers who can join, only that they meet all the requirements of the application process and Service Specification. Providers must have a face-to-face delivery location that is within the boundaries of the borough of South Tyneside or be within 15 miles from the borough boundary. The FFA will remain open for Providers to submit applications to join the FFA at any time over the duration of the framework and the Council will close and re-open the opportunity every 3 months on 1 July 24, 1 October 24, 1 January 25 and 1 April 25 and quarterly thereafter. The FFA will allow Providers to tender for one or more Lots they want to be considered for. Providers will have the opportunity to join the FFA during its life. In addition, Providers appointed to the FFA will be able to apply for additional Lots during its life. Keywords: Alternative Education
