2024 Coomhola NS: Architectural Services for Additional Accommodation at Coomhola National School, Bantry, Co Cork.

Tender description

The Board of Management of Coomhola National School (the Contracting Authority for this project) invites tenders for Architectural Services for the above project. This is a Type One project. This tender is for architectural services only and does not require the buying in of additional services. The tender arises due to the retirement of the existing architect. The current Quantity Surveyor, Civil Structural Engineer and Building Services Engineer have agreed to remain with the project. The Stage One Report has been approved by the Department of Education. The project consists of • Two Mainstream Classrooms: 80 m2 each • One WC for Assisted Users 10.5 m2 Giving a total floor area including circulation and walls: 209 m2 The original approved grant amounted to €500,000. The total Stage One Cost Plan amounted to €1,004,000.
