Provision of Services Relating to Managing Statistical Output Quality

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) seeks to address issues which have been identified through analysis of the SQMM (Statistical Quality Maturity Model) and QiPs (Quality Improvement Plans). Producing statistics of high quality is vital to ONS, but this analysis identified weaknesses in end to end processes which creates a higher than acceptable level of risk to ONS’ ability to ensure high quality statistical outputs. The procurement opportunity will seek an external supplier with experience of developing and enhancing production systems to work with ONS to: • Review some sample end to end statistical production processes to identify how we can develop better management information to support process efficiencies • Work with ONS’ staff to enable us to roll this approach out across all of our statistical production processes Lot 1: The Office for National Statistics (ONS) seeks to address issues which have been identified through analysis of the SQMM (Statistical Quality Maturity Model) and QiPs (Quality Improvement Plans).
