Tender description

The purposes of the Joint Retail Strategy is to provide a framework for guiding the development of a vibrant and competitive retail sector within the City and Metropolitan Area. The Metropolitan Area is defined in the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) which includes a Metropolitan Area Strategic Plan (MASP). The MASP area comprises the city and the surrounding hinterland and includes the towns of Oranmore, Bearna and Baile Chláir (See Appendix 1 MASP area). A joint Local Authority Working Group will oversee the project, which will be administered by Galway City Council.
