The Government of Jersey is committed to maintaining a high standard of safety at road works whilst ensuring that local training is available and affordable. The aim of this ITT is to appoint a training service provider (TSP) to deliver the following courses: 1. Jersey Road Works Safety Course 2. Portable Temporary Traffic Signal Course 3. Jersey Undertaker Works Course The ‘Jersey Road Works Safety Course’ is a basic road works safety course based on the ACOP aimed at providing a cost effective on island course for local trainees covering the planning of road works and the signing, lighting, and guarding requirements. The Portable Temporary Traffic Signal Course is a basic course covering the correct setup and operation of temporary portable traffic signals. The ‘Jersey Undertaker Works’ provides operatives and supervisors with the skills and knowledge required to effectively carry out excavations and reinstatements on main roads in Jersey. This course is an essential additional syllabus to ensure quality reinstatements to protect the road structure and the integrity of the apparatus within it. Keywords: Road Works Safety Course
