Licensing Forms Solution

ath and North East Council has a requirement for a forms solution to enable online completion of complex application forms including making a payment and submitting evidence for licensing applications. There are around 40 different types of licence equating to over 3000 applications processed each year (1566 new, 1002 renewals, 270 variations, 260 transfers and 170 changes of details), the most common of which are alcohol/premises licences, taxi licences, charity collections and Temporary Event Notices (TENs). This change is part of the Business Support Centralisation project for Development & Public Protection and Environmental Services which is linked to in the service plans of both Directorates and enables cost reduction and efficiencies while improving the customer experience.
