The Provision of a Development Management Support Team Contract - Planning Services

Tender description

The Council requires a contracting company to assist in the delivery of its Development Management Service, by supporting the assessment and recommendation of its planning functions associated with the determination of planning applications. It is intended that this contract will cover the full range of application type but focus mainly on the minor type of applications. The Service has started an ‘Improvement Plan’ and undertaken significant improvements over the last 24 months, which it is seeking to continue for the foreseeable future. However, to gain capacity the Service is looking for a reliable, experienced and flexible partner to assist with the delivery of its Development Management functions. Consequently, it is looking to appoint a contracting company for a period of 12 months (31 March 2025) to support the Development Management service. This contract may be extended for a further 12 months, subject to performance and organisational need. Keywords: Planning, Consultancy
