Tender description

NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) acts in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. NHS SBS intends to put in place a Framework Agreement for the provision of Modular Buildings and related Goods and Services to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Lot 1: Public Sector Modular New Builds Prior Information Notice (PIN) specifically aimed at providers in the modular building and construction sector, to be utilised by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the NHS and wider UK Public Sector. This Lot is for the provision of new build modular buildings to the UK Public Sector in all sectors except for healthcare and education which have separate dedicated lots. Additional information: Lots will be defined as an outcome of this initial market engagement PIN. The new Framework, subject to review and change, is expected to go live before the expiry of the existing Framework Agreement SBS10091 on 04 July 2025. Lot 2: Public Sector Modular Hire and Lease Prior Information Notice (PIN) specifically aimed at providers in the modular building and construction sector, to be utilised by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the NHS and wider UK Public Sector. This Lot is for the provision of modular buildings for hire or lease to the to the UK Public Sector in all sectors except for healthcare and education which have separate dedicated lots. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the NHS and wider UK Public Sector. This Lot is for the provision of new build modular buildings to the police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue services. Additional information: Lots will be defined as an outcome of this initial market engagement PIN. The new Framework, subject to review and change, is expected to go live shortly after the expiry of the existing Framework Agreement SBS10091 on 04 July 2025. Lot 8: Blue Light Modular Hire and Lease Prior Information Notice (PIN) specifically aimed at providers in the modular building and construction sector, to be utilised by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the NHS and wider UK Public Sector. This Lot is for the provision of modular buildings for hire and lease to the police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue services. Additional information: Lots will be defined as an outcome of this initial market engagement PIN. The new Framework, subject to review and change, is expected to go live before the expiry of the existing Framework Agreement SBS10091 on 04 July 2025. Lot 9: Residential Modular New Build Prior Information Notice (PIN) specifically aimed at providers in the modular building and construction sector, to be utilised by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the wider UK public and private sectors. This Lot is for the provision of new build modular buildings to the residential sector. The new Framework, subject to review and change, is expected to go live before the expiry of the existing Framework Agreement SBS10091 on 04 July 2025. Lot 10: Hybrid Construction Projects Prior Information Notice (PIN) specifically aimed at suppliers in the modular building and construction sector, to be utilised by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. Following further engagement from suppliers in this area, NHS SBS intends to put a Framework in place to offer modular building suppliers a compliant route to market to further support the NHS and wider UK Public Sector. This Lot is for the provision of construction works where the construction value is over £60m and where there will be a significant element of modular or MMC. Awarded contractors to this Lot may include consortiums or special purpose vehicles/joint ventures formed of a principal contractor and one or more MMC provider. Works included under this lot may be for the NHS or the wider UK Public Sector and can accommodate projects in any sector.
