The requirement for x16 Internal Micrometer to complement the x16 Endoscopes already procured to produce an Examination of Ordnance (XofO) equipment for the CT40 Cannon on the Ajax Platform Lot 1: The Authority required the provision of 16 x Internal Micrometer for the Examination of Ordnance (X of O) equipment to be procured to support the mandated inspection regime for the new CT40mm Cannon, being introduced to AJAX. The existing system has become obsolete and therefore a replacement system has been sourced. The high-level requirement for this procurement consists of: Internal Micrometer must have the ability to measure the diameter of the bore between 39mm – 43mm. The weight of the product must not exceed 20kg, to be single person portable, and is hand operated. The equipment must have 3 measuring heads that align perpendicular to the bore rifling. The equipment must be able to extend a minimum of 350mm to 1400mm (the full length of the bore is 2800mm) .
