Tender description

The Purchase of Ex-Military Temporary Bridges has been awarded using the Negotiated Procedure without Prior Publication (NPwPP) as , following market research FLS has identified only one possible supplier available at this time. This NPwPP meets the requirements of The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015; Regulation 33(1)(b)(ii) as there is only one supplier who has the particular specialist bridge that FLS requires in stock. Other potential suppliers were investigated but did not have available stock. Lot 1: The purchase of 2 x 26m span ex-military temporary bridges has been identified as a cost effective bridging solution for various situations required by FLS. These bridges can be erected in less than a day to provide quick access at a minimum installation cost.
