March 24 Service 71 Bus Tender

Tender description

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking tenders to operate bus service 71 on a Sunday only from Sutton Coldfield - Chelmsley Wood commencing on 31 March 2024 until 04 January 2025 (40 weeks). This contract will include an option to extend from 5 January 2025 - 25 October 2025 (42 weeks) then until 21 October 2028 on a 1 year (52 weeks) mutually agreeable basis (extendable up to 3 times). A Euro 6 vehicle is required with a minimum seated capacity of 26 and a minimum capacity of 35. Any vehicle proposed for use on the service shall fully comply with the Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations 2000. The closing date for submissions is 1700 on 14th March 2024 and the deadline for any clarification questions is 1200 noon on 11th March 2024.
