Capacity Building Creating the Spark

Conwy County Borough Council has awarded the contract to support and deliver the cultural capacity building element of the UK Shared Prosperity project: Creating the Spark - a cultural transformation project. The project will drive the delivery and implementation of the Creu Conwy Cultural Strategy and Library and Information Strategy with a focus culture led renewal to support wellbeing. The requirement of this commission is to support and build the quality and resilience of the independent cultural sector offer with a focus upon identifying training needs and sourcing suitable training, networking, and knowledge exchange opportunities. It will also include: upskilling new volunteers and embedding learning about national and international initiatives at a local level to support increased sustainability, visibility, profile and innovation in Conwy’s cultural sector.
