Tender description

Westminster City Council’s Waste and Cleansing contract provides waste and recycling collections for residents and businesses, street cleansing and other related services such as winter gritting operations. With an annual value of around £57 million, it is one of the biggest contracts within the Council. A programme has been established to review our strategy for the Waste and Cleansing service, including strategic outcomes, and setting a clear direction for service delivery now and in the future. This work is being undertaken in advance of the end of the current contract in September 2027, recognising that this milestone represents an opportunity point to align future delivery requirements to any new strategic direction.
