Tender description

Active Cornwall, through Cornwall Council, are seeking a Bikeability approved Training Provider to delivery Bikeability training (mainly level 1 and 2) to schools within the Truro, Falmouth, Camborne, Pool and Redruth area from April 2024 through to end of March 2025 with a potential extension depending on the continuation of the award from The Bikeability Trust. All interested parties will need to be an approved Training provider with the Bikeability Trust and be able to evidence this as well have the capacity to deliver to schools within the identified area. The successful training provider needs to be aware that there were a previous provider performing this service and they should take their own legal advice in relation to whether TUPE would be applicable or not for their workforce. They will also be required to follow all identified Cornwall procedures in delivering this service including use of the CycleReady platform to ensure consistency of delivery. A Service Level Agreement will confirm all the detail required to carry out this service and a draft can be made available before an expression of interest is complete. A grant will be paid to the successful training provider following completion of all required reporting and at a rate of £42.00 per child trained. We would consider supporting numerous training providers to deliver within specific locations within the identified area and this can be identified within your expression.
