AP 02/24 - EPL Fuel Handling Systems and Drainage Cleaning

Tender description

Edenderry is a bubbling fluidized bed boiler, located in County Offaly. Edenderry combust local and imported biomass producing 118MW of power to the national grid. There are times when managing the site calls for hiring cleaning services to maintain the EPL fuel handling systems, the surrounding drainage systems, and the equipment that is used there. Examples of a compulsory cleaning service; underground chambers, fuel conveyors, draining the sewerage tank, cleaning and unclogging storm drains, sump cleaning, equipment on the site that requires to be swept/washed and blown down, boiler air duct cleaning. An appropriate vacuum truck must be utilized as needed because the material may be wet or dry. Vacuum trucks are not needed for all activities; thus a few workers would be needed for tasks like washing, sweeping, and/or shovelling.
