Regenerative Farming Research Report and Action Plan

Tender description

The Authority wishes to award a contract for a research report and action plan. This piece of work is required because there is no single trusted and independent source of data and evidence around the carbon emission abatement benefits of Regenerative Farming. While we recognise that there is some existing work on this subject, at present there is none within the 5 Protected Landscapes, particularly the upland livestock farming landscapes of North Yorkshire. We wish to draw on existing research, build on it, and combine this with local case studies to create balanced and relevant information for planners, decision makers, the protected landscape partnerships, farmers and landowners.
