GB-Colchester: Military Road Demolition Works

Tender description

Colchester Borough Homes on behalf of Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to undertake the initial phase of work as part of the redevelopment of the former garage site on Military Road, Colchester. This phase is for the demolition of the existing buildings of the site. The buildings will be taken down to slab level and the works will include blocking off existing below ground service pipes, but these remaining in-situ and to be removed as part of the main contract works. Full details of the requirements are detailed within the tender documents. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. A site visit will occur on 16th January 2024, contact details to arrange the visit are included in the tender documents. The work shall commence on site Monday 11th March 2024 and bidders are to state the time period to undertake the works, the dates provided are purely a guide.
