Derry and Strabane District Council is committed to ensuring our employees receive the best training in order to meet our responsibilities under Health and Safety legislation. Health and Safety training is currently delivered via external providers. However, it should be noted that in recent times due to the Covid-19 pandemic training has been delivered virtually where possible. Council now wish to appoint a list of suitably qualified and experienced external training providers to deliver or supplement the delivery of a range of Health and Safety compliance training including refresher courses as listed in this document. The Council will appoint up to five restricted suppliers for each course. Determination of course delivery will be in conjunction with the requirements of Council. Therefore, there is no guarantee that any Supplier will be required. There is no guarantee of volume or exclusivity of work. Council will use each Supplier based on the following: 1. Suppliers ranked first will receive priority 2. Availability, if first on the list is not available, the second will be approached etc. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
