Public Relations and Communications (“PR”) support for the ‘Balance for Better Business’ (B4BB) initiative

In 2018, the Government invited senior business leaders, and others, to come together to form Balance for Better Business, an independent business-led Review Group tasked with accelerating the process of change for better gender balance at the senior levels of Irish companies. B4BB has historically focused on and built its communications around tue publication of its annual report in November of each year. In 2023, the initiative will require an expansion of this support for a twelve-month period, including increasing the visibility of the initiative in the run up to the report publication in November of 2023, as well as the visibility and awareness of the initiative beyond the annual report launch. Responsibilities will include managing B4BB’s social media accounts (Twitter and LinkedIn) across the year, promoting the publication in November, and reinforcing the key messages contained in the report and any other messaging, including highlighting collateral developed for the case studies and report launch in 2022. Content will be created in collaboration with the programme director who will provide provisional content which will be shaped and edited by the PR firm, in keeping with the overall messaging themes. While the majority of content will be created in this way, it is a requirement that the PR firm will also suggest and propose content as appropriate and as and when requested by the programme director. The PR partner will use the existing report for reference (available at https://www.betterbalance.ie/fifth-report-november-2022/) and work with the B4BB programme director to create a communication plan for the relevant period.
