Mobile Sexual Health Service

Tender description

There is limited/no capacity in the market to deliver the service on a mobile basis and is currently delivered by a small organisation and options need to be considered in terms of longer term funding for the contract, subsuming the service into a larger delivery model including other sexual health and relationship and sex education which could potentially involve joint funding arrangements with other agencies. TUPE also applies to this contract. Given the limited capacity in the market, the low contract value and the implications of TUPE I believe it is of significant benefit to the Council and low risk to allow a single supplier negotiation with the incumbent provider for a 12 month contract with 2 available 12month extensions subject to funding
