Is there an incumbent? The post has suddenly been left vacant and we need cover while we recruit for a permanent person 2. What is the expected contract length? Probably 3/4 months depending on the length of the recruitment process 3. Is this opportunity Inside IR35 or Outside IR35? It is covered by IR35 4. Would be happy to proceed with submitting a candidate. Is there a potential for a temp to perm style engagement should the candidate be interested? I'm not sure I understand this question? The role involves building new areas of the live website which would be permanent. If the temp wanted to apply for the role permanently they can do that when the ad goes live. 5. What’s the maximum day rate? We haven't set a maximum. We'll shortlist candidates based on their skills and experience and their costs. 6. Please confirm, is this role inside ir 35? Yes 7. Is this role a content authoring role (requiring journalism skills) or an Umbraco management role (requiring in-depth Umbraco specific system configuration skills). Your requirement suggests the former but the answer to question 4 (building new areas) suggests the latter. It is actually both. The vast majority of content is contributed and needs putting into Government Digital Service accessible style - hence journalistic skills to ensure quality copy. The latter is not overly technical - it will involve uploading content within existing templates in Umbraco and also creating new areas within the site which is straightforward to those with experience.
