Licenced Vehicles Drivers Tests (Early Engagement)

North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the "Council") are looking for a single supplier that can provide a training day including, but subject to change, the following subjects for applicants for new and holders of existing hackney carriage and private hire driver licences: Current legislation, rules and regulations. Customer service Driver safety Reporting crimes and dealing with customer complaints Highway Code Disability and Equality Awareness Safeguarding Basic English and Mathematics The training is to be held at 4 venues around North Northamptonshire organised by the supplier on a regular basis to meet the demands of the service. Applicants will book on directly with the provider and pay directly. The supplier will supply a pass/fail list after each training session to the Council. The Council does not expect applicants to pay more than £130 for this service. This is an early engagement notice to enable the Council to best understand the current delivery options available in the market. It is intended that the outcome of this Notice will be used to further inform the Council's procurement and contract model, but the Council is under no obligation to any potential Supplier and/or makes no guarantees to any party, resulting from feedback received to this Notice.
