Minor Building Fabric Repairs

Tender description

The project scope is to undertake some isolated external remedial works to the existing building fabric that comprises the following:- 1. Surface water drainage installation to address isolated ponding in the existing car park. 2. Damp penetration remedials, including the installation of surface water drainage. 3. Minor render repairs to address current isolated defects. The tender documentation will comprise the following:- • Short set of preliminaries. • Schedule of works that is to be priced by contractors. • Proposed form of contract. This will be the Department for Education Small Works Contract. • Programme • Short set of technical questions to evaluate responses, which will include some pass/fail elements around turnover and insurances. Evaluation of responses and appointment of the contractor will be on the basis of a Qualitative (30%) / Quantitative (70%) weighting. The buyer will be the Department for Education.
