Tender description
The National Transport Authority (NTA) is progressing with BusConnects Dublin, a major investment programme to improve public transport in the Greater Dublin Area. It aims to overhaul the current bus system in Dublin through a 10 year programme of integrated actions to deliver a more efficient, reliable and better bus system for more people. BusConnects Dublin includes the following 12 Core Bus Corridor (CBC) schemes: • The Clongriffin to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Swords to City Centre Core CBC Scheme; • The Ballymun / Finglas to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Blanchardstown to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Lucan to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Liffey Valley to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Tallaght / Clondalkin to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Kimmage to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Templeogue / Rathfarnham to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Bray to City Centre CBC Scheme; • The Belfield / Blackrock to City Centre CBC Scheme; and • The Ringsend to City Centre CBC Scheme. The National Transport Authority requires utility survey investigation works for the above 12 schemes, and other transport projects, and intends to enter into the Multi-Party Framework Agreement with a maximum of four participants, subject to that number meeting the minimum quality criteria. This procedure includes the tender for the Phase 2 Utility Survey Contract for Clongriffin to City Centre CBC Scheme under a PW-CF7 contract. The most economically advantageous tenderer will be awarded the Investigation works for the Phase 2 Utility Survey Contract for Clongriffin to City Centre CBC Scheme as well as entry to the Multi-Party Framework Agreement (PW-CF9). The three remaining framework participants will be the three next most economically advantageous tenders submitted for the Phase 2 Utility Survey Contract for Clongriffin to City Centre CBC Scheme, subject to meeting the minimum quality criteria.
