Tender description

Luton Borough Council is looking to engage qualified organisations to bid for a place on the ‘Private sector aids and adaptations approved supplier list’. Please note this is not a bid process that will result in a contract with the council. If successful in this process, you will be added to an approved supplier list (Stage 1) and then be able to quote for specific private housing projects (stage 2) and the contract will be between you and the applicant. The works are in all areas under the control of Luton Borough Council. They are commonly involving the fitting of wet rooms, access ramps and part M compliant doors. Occasionally the works may go as far as requiring an extension. For the equipment firms, we commonly fit stair lifts, hoists, step lifts and through floor lifts.
